9. A Prayer to God

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.”  1

Then everyone who believes in him can have eternal life.” Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life. 2

Later, Jesus talked to the people again. He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never live in darkness. They will have the light that gives life.” 3

Jesus says: “Come to me all of you who are tired from the heavy burden you have been forced to carry. I will give you rest. Accept my teaching. Learn from me. I am gentle and humble in spirit. And you will be able to get some rest. Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light.” 4

Your choice

If you believe that God wants to have a relationship with you and that -in order to make it possible- He has sent His Son Jesus Christ to earth to take your sins, He puts His hand on you!

You may tell God that you accept His offer and that you want to be saved by Jesus Christ. Speak from your heart! Tell him honestly about your needs. Tell him honestly what you have done wrong. He will listen to you.

You can tell Him that you want to trust Him and that you want to change your life. That you want to live in His guidance.

Thank Jesus Christ that He died for your mistakes and that He has risen again from the dead to prove He was more than just a good man.

Take all the time you need. If you do not know words that you can speak to God, simply ask if He wants to give you the right words.

Jesus answered, “All who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them. My Father and I will come to them and live with them. 5

Great if you have taken this step. It is the most important decision in your life!

God will come into your heart with His Holy Spirit and help you in your life.
